Process

Consultation

Our process begins with an in-person meeting where we’ll sit down with you to dive deep into your ideas and requirements. Feel free to bring along any inspiration materials, such as photos, floorplans, or Pinterest boards, to help us understand your vision better. This initial consultation is crucial for us to get to know each other, discuss pricing, and ensure that we’re the right fit for bringing your dream home to life.

Communication

After you’ve chosen to proceed with us, we’ll furnish you with login details for our online portal. Through this platform, you can effortlessly monitor the project schedule, browse progress photos, and submit any new requests or inquiries. Additionally, you’ll have access to track expenses and payment deadlines conveniently. Should you need to reach out to us, simply use the portal, and we’ll promptly address your concerns or queries.

Design

If you don’t already have a design in mind, don’t worry—we’re here to assist you every step of the way. With our extensive experience in various styles and numerous successful projects under our belt, we’re well-equipped to help bring your vision to life. Let’s schedule a meeting to discuss your plans in detail, and we’ll provide valuable insights on how to optimize your space for maximum functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Construction

Once we’ve finalized your design and set up your profile on our Homeowner Portal, we’ll be all set to commence construction. Throughout the process, our team ensures clear and transparent communication with all parties involved. Rest assured, you’ll be well taken care of when partnering with Lexvex LLC.

Finishing Up

As we approach the completion of the project, we’ll schedule a final meeting with you to address any questions or concerns you may have. During this meeting, we’ll also outline our warranty process to ensure that any issues with your home after our departure are promptly addressed and resolved.

Working with Lexvex construction was a delight. Since basements aren’t typically finished for you in Utah, my husband and I searched for a construction company that would do the work for us. We got our quote and mock up of the basement in a very timely manner. We were told the project would take 3 months to complete. From there, we put down the initial deposit and were introduced to our project manager Jeff Rogers. To say that Jeff was the best part of our experience would be an understatement! He was very communicative, helpful and nice. He is truly wonderful at his job. Each morning we got a text update from him with what to expect for that day and the timing. We were always in the loop with the progress the whole time. Jeff covered every question and thought of everything. What sort of lights we wanted, what tile, even down the the grout color. We never had to stress or worry about what was being done or who was doing what. Jeff scheduled professional contractors who did a fantastic job at being respectful of our house while getting their work done efficiently. He also handled all the permits with the city. Overall, this was the best experience we have ever had working with a construction company. Our basement finished a month ahead of schedule. It’s exactly what we wanted and then some. I keep walking down there and admiring the outstanding work. 🙂 My husband and I highly recommend Lexvex construction for any project you need! If you get to pick your project manager, ask for Jeff Rogers.

Just finished our basement finishing project. Very pleased with the final result. The process was a bit of a nightmare at times, but I don't fault Lexvex for all of that. We chose a good time (pandemic, rising prices, high demand and low supply, etc.) to start the project. Ended up twice as long as originally planned and it was definitely a rocky start... That said, however, Ryan was responsive, open to our feedback, quick to address concerns we expressed, and in the end did everything to make sure we felt fairly treated. Project started off with not much in the way of project management. I brought the issue up to Ryan who was quick to respond and address the issue. Our new project manager, Henry, responded quickly to our questions and whenever we noted issues from any of the subs' work. He made sure we were pleased with each step and brought back the subs as many times as was needed to make everything perfect, and even stepped in to do things himself, as needed, to move things along. I'm sure he's just as glad to be done with this project as we are! I'd recommend Lexvex for their dedication to their work and to their customers and to making sure their customers are 100% satisfied before signing off on the project -- and for still responding quickly thereafter when we noticed an issue and reached out to get that touched up.

I spent years thinking about our basement. By the time I finally requested estimates, my plan had become fairly "creative" and grandiose. I wanted a bathroom where the storage closet was, a soundproof office, custom range hood, and much, much more! I expected Ryan to tell me my ideas were too ambitious or not feasible, but that was not the case! Every idea was executed and I am so happy with the final product! James was the project manager assigned to our basement. He has great communication skills and went above and beyond to address all the little things that would have driven me nuts for years. I really appreciate James' attention to detail. He fixed so many things that other contractors would have rolled their eyes at (e.g. broken window screens, etc.). James never made me feel like I was annoying or nit-picky. He validated my concerns and then made it right! I am so glad we went with Lexvex!

Lexvex finished the basement in our brand new home, building me the perfect "Mother-in-law" apartment. Overall the contractors were professional and did good work, I was very impressed with how consistently and well they cleaned up after themselves. They were very adaptable to making changes when requested. Trevor was easy to work with and followed up to make sure things were done right. The job took a few weeks longer than estimated but considering the work was done during the pandemic lock down, things went fairly smoothly. The quality of the work done in our basement makes us wish they had finished the main floor as well. It has been 9 months since they finished the basement and they have had to come back to fix a few things, no problem. They are as good as their word on the warranty, I feel my money was well spent going with Lexvex.
